2nd Place – Joint LTA/ADM Design Competition
Peak Hour is a board game designed for the LTA Caring Commuter Champion programme, with the aims of breaking down the programme's resource guide into digestible amounts of information in a fun and engaging manner, in order to increase the public's knowledge on actionable steps they can take to assist commuters in need while on public transport. The board game also hopes to encourage more people to sign up as a caring commuter champion.
Peak Hour is centered around learning about how to care for commuters in need on our public transportation. Through a gameplay which simulates carious scenarios of commuters in need and the reactions of in-game characters to it that will help you progress/fall behind in the game, players will better understand how to react in such situations in real life. Players will learn how to give time, give care, give a hand, and give thanks, through detailed prompts that propel them to the finish line.
